The construction of the emergency drinking water source for Chaozhou City and the Third Water Treatment Plant in Cha'an District is essential to meet the city’s growing demand for water supply and improve water quality, and it is an urgent priority for the development of Chaozhou City. Located in Dengtang Town, Chao’an District, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province, this project has a total capacity of 250,000 cubic meters. The main pipeline material selected is centrifugally cast fiberglass-reinforced plastic (GRP) pipe, with a total length of 8,700 meters. Of this, approximately 5,500 meters consists of direct bury pipes ranging from DN1000 to DN1600, while approximately 3,200 meters consists of trenchless pressure-jacking pipes of DN1600, laid in parallel using a twin-pipe jacking method.
